The opening and closing part of the forged steel gate valve is a gate that moves perpendicular to the direction of the fluid. The forged steel gate valve can only be fully opened or fully closed; it cannot be used for adjustment or throttling. The gate has two sealing surfaces that form a wedge in the most commonly used model. The wedge angle varies depending on the valve parameters. The forged steel gate valve can be operated manually, pneumatically, electrically, or with a gas-liquid linkage system.
