The top rollers are by far the machines which contribute the most to forming the glass ribbon. Top roller draws glass ribbon forward by pressing the roller head on the edge of glass bibbon floating on molten tin.by adjusting linear speed of the top roller head and its horizontal swing angle,the top roller reaches the purpose of controlling the thickness of glass ribbon and stabilizing the width of the glass ribbon. They are located by pairs on each side of the bath. The number of top rollers depends on the line daily output and on the type of glass to manufacture
