It was designed for its smaller pack size (1.6m long) and is often purchased by people with limited storage capacity (dual Cabs). The trade-off is that the tent is much smaller and has an erected tent height of 1.45m (2.2m under the awning). More and more RV-1's are being used as roof-top tents and in some cases used with a platform on a box trailer. A much cheaper alternative!!!
