Unlike a lot of other procedures, CoolSculpting takes very little time and is pretty simple to fit into your daily life. After your CoolSculpting treatment you can typically get right back to your busy day. Each treatment lasts one hour – the same time you might spend at the gym. So you can easily fit your appointment into a lunch break.
1.CoolSculpting does not hurt. It feels cold when the pad is initially placed on the skin, and then can feel like suction or pressure. once the skin and fat are cold, they lose sensation.
2. After treatment, as the fat thaws, it feels like thawing of fingers after cold exposure (tingly, prickly). This sensation lasts for 15- 20 minutes
3.Over the next several days, the area treated can become swollen, crampy and sore. This is temporary and generally no worse than menstrual cramps.

Each area is treated separately for 1 hour each (e.g. left and right hips are 2 separate treatments). Up to 3 areas for a total of 3 hours can be treated the same day. Most patients feel a “pulling”, pinching, sometimes burning sensation first few minutes of the treatment. It goes away within about 10 minutes and is followed by numbness, which stays for some time after the procedure. No painkillers are required. For better results a massage of frozen area right after the procedure and few weeks following the treatment is recommended. Most patients report the procedure to be quit bearable.
