In collaboration with the Happy Older People project, next week we are filming documentary shorts about life in Liverpool in the 1950s and 1960s. We’ll be looking at two locations in particular, through the eyes of those that know the places well.
David will be taking us back to The Cavern in its heyday, talking about what it was like to perform at the iconic venue, and how that performance ended up shaping his life through the introduction of one special person.
Meanwhile, Margaret is going to take us to the Anfield area, talking about her memories of growing up around Stanley Park, and what the area means to her.
The shorts will be on the website by the end of January, so watch this space!
